Worx Great Right Out of the Box!
The Worx mower is an outstanding mower. I unpacked it and mowed my rather large yard. After starting pull string gas mowers for my entire life, this push button start was outstanding. You do have to keep momentum going if you are out of shape and used to self-propelled mowers, but this mower is outstanding. I used the mulching attachment that is pre-installed and the yard looks great! It takes a few passes to get used to the turning radius, but other than that, this is a great mower and so quiet. I accidentally called my mom as my cell phone was in my pocket and I stopped the mower when I heard her repeating "hello".

If you are looking for a replacement for your noisy hard starting gas mower, this mower works great!

Great Mower, though a bit heavy
After some research, we went ahead with the Worx ECO lawn mower back in May 2009 against suggestions from my colleagues' advises to stay away from any non-gas mower because they simply don't have enough power. Boy they are wrong.

Counting both front and back yard, we have around 6-7k sqft of grass to cut. The front is St. Augustine and the back is Bahiagrass. The mower can chew through both front and back yard in one single charge. Going thru the back yard's Bahiagrass is a snap however its a slightly different story in the front and on the side with the St. Augustine. Given the mower's weight and the thick St. Augustine, its quite a workout to maneuver around the trees and shrubs. That is the only complain I have so far.

We did try the black&decker corded mower, but managing the cord is just too much to handle in the front yard around the shrubs and trees. So we just returned it and ordered the Worx.

The Worx cuts nice and clean, munch well. Not very noisy as I can still hear the cell phone ring. Powerful, though at times I do need to slow down to let it digest a bit more when the grass grew too long (like after 2+ week's time in rain season in Florida). Haven't used the bags yet as its already pretty heavy by itself with the battery.

So far I am very satisfy with the purchase. Don't have to deal with gas and no fume. Charging is easy, just leave it charge the night before I mow. Unplug it and put it right in the mower when I am ready to roll. And when I am done after an hour or so, it still shows it has 50% charge left, very nice. It would be very nice if its a self-propel as my lawn is not completely flat, going uphill takes some work. But then again, I can use the exercise.

I will recommend the mower to others, as long as they don't have big yard full of St. Augustine or similar thick broad blade grass.

Great mower
I had bought the Worx GT 18V 2 in 1 Trimmer and was impressed by its out of the box and to the job capability. So, when the time came, I researched all options and decided to go "green" andgive this a mower a go. It arrived compliments of UPS, so check ur packaging. It took about 10 minutes to unpack and assemble. It comes with a bag or if you want u can go with the traditional out the side. I snapped the bag on and went to town since the battery was fully charged. I mowed the front and my massive back yard with no problems and still had plenty of juice left over. As far as charging the battery, follow the directions and you'll be good to go. Also, just blow or sweep off the top and make sure you keep your blade sharp. I love this mower and was well worth the price.
